OPI Tiffany Case

Good afternoon loves! Hope you all are doing well! I think I'm getting a cold. Can't tell yet, but my throat has been sore for the last few days. Yuck!

I didn't expect it, but it's official. I'm into the texture polish craze! I never really got into the crackle thing when it was around, and the matte look is still iffy for me, but this texture thing! I think the polish companies are doing great things with these polishes. First Zoya with the PixieDust line and now the Bond Girls collection from OPI. I wasn't planning on picking any of these up, but decided since I don't have a blue polish -- I passed on Nyx by Zoya -- that I'd grab it. Best. Idea. Evar!

Tiffany Case is a bright blue polish from OPI's Liquid Sand line of texture polishes. It manages to stay matte and textured while being amazingly shiny and sparkly! I can't stop looking at my fingers!

I don't know if I'll be getting any more of the Bond Girls collection, but picking this one up was definitely a good call!

Any of you have a preference or think you'll be picking any of this collection up??

China Glaze It's a Trap-eze

Hello all! How is everyone this evening?

Today I have a polish by China Glaze from the Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away collection: It's a Trap-eze.  I missed out on this polish the first time around and actually ended up ordering it off Amazon.com. I thought it was a really neat idea: jelly sandwich in a bottle. Unfortunately, I found this polish super difficult to work with and not quite awesome enough to make the application worth it. The polish is really thick and hard to apply evenly. The colors are fantastic, but I doubt I'll grab for this again, unless I'm going for a theme with my nails and this polish fits the theme.

Sorry for the mess! I really found this just too difficult to work with.

KBShimmer Witch Way?

Hello all. Hope you are having a fabulous day! Today's polish is by KBShimmer. Witch Way? is a beautiful purple jelly with small, silver holographic hexes and micro glitters. It's super gorgeous! One of my favorite polishes.

Three coats under a standard desk lamp. I may have swatched this before but I don't think they were very good so here are some better pictures!

Zoya Vespa (again)

Good morning everyone! I know I already did a post with Vespa from Zoya's PixieDust collection, but let's be honest: it was just one picture.... and it really wasn't all that good. Haha. Soooo, I took some new ones to go a long with my post on Godiva.

Here is Vespa, again. The lovely sage green textured polish from Zoya's PixieDust collection. I *think* I got the shimmer captured. That's truly what makes these polishes amazing.

I really love these polishes. At first I didn't like the whole textured polish craze that is going on, but the shimmer that these have is just fantastic! It really looks like someone poured crushed gems and sugar on your nails. I'm super impressed. I'm probably going to just stick with these two colors from this round of PixieDust polishes because it looks like there are some bright colors coming out later this year... and THOSE I want. I want them already and haven't even seen them swatched!

Hope you liked the better version of swatches from this post! Check out my post on Godiva HERE if you haven't see that one yet!

Girly Bits Cosmic Ocean and Street Magic

Good afternoon all! I'm super excited about the release of Pam's new Girly Bits collection tomorrow and so in honor of the release I have a few of my favorite layering polishes, probably ever: Cosmic Ocean and Street Magic. These are multi colored shimmers that can be layer over any color. In my pictures I picked to layer them over black, but they also look stunning over blues and greens and purples!

Street Magic is a green/gold shimmer. It shifts from green to yellow to red to gold. It's just amazing and looks just as stunning over green or blue; although, I've chosen black for my swatches.

I just. Pictures barely do this justice. Next though I have Cosmic Ocean for you. I consider Cosmic Ocean my favorite layering polish of all time. The way it transforms a normal black polish isjust.... I have no words. None. Pictures will in NO way do this polish justice. It's just so incredible I can only hope to have captured at least a little bit of it's awesomeness.

Isn't that just amazing? Over normal black. And the shimmer is just insane. I can't even talk about it properly it's so stunning.

Girly Bits Polish can be purchased at Pam's store for $10/bottle. I highly recommend these polishes. I was hoping to get Shift Happens in here as well, but I couldn't track down my bottle so I'll swatch that one later From what I understand, Pam's Spring It On Me collection will be released tomorrow although these two polishes are already for sale and not part of that collection.

A little A England Spam!

Good evening!

Today's post is a little special, but only because Travelin' Nails traveled to a computer and a real camera today. It's my day off, and goodness, everyone was busy but me. So I swatched. I have 4 polishes from A England for you today. A England is a semi-indie (??? I feel like they aren't quite indie, but yet they are) brand that makes some of my favorite holographic polishes! All these are scattered holographic and the formula is gorgeous. The polish in general is just gorgeous. I'm absolutely in love.

First I have a polish that was a lemming for me for a long time. I kept seeing it, wanting it, then passing for something else. I finally ordered it and HOLY WOW I can NOT believe I waited so long! This is Lady of the Lake, a purple scattered holo.

Next I have Ascalon, a gorgeous grey with a slight lavender duo-chrome effect.

Dragon was my very first A England polish, and Dragon is the perfect name for this color of green!

Finally, I have St. George, an amazingly pigmented teal blue. In darker lighting this one looks like it is dark green, but it definitely has a lot of blue in it one compared to Dragon, above.

I adore all of these polishes. If you are on the fence about any of these I am pushing you over. Go get them. I promise you will not regret it! I definitely didn't.

Zoya Godiva

Good evening!

Today is just a super brief post. I have a second polish from the Zoya PixieDust collection. I really wasn't prepared to like this collection or this entire fad as much as I do! I picked up Godiva, the nude from the collection. Love it! It's just gorgeous and the sparkle that I can't capture just adds an extra OOMPH!! I used three costs for my swatch and all picture are under a desk lamp.

Revlon Tanzanite

Good afternoon! Hope you all are doing well! Today I have for you a polish from Revlon called Tanzanite. I stumbled across this collection in Walgreens. It's called the Chroma Chameleon Collection. There are 8 duo-chromes that you can pick from. I only picked up two because a lot of them look like the same colors we've seen with China Glaze and Nicole polishes. I might go back and pick up one more that looks different, but for now I'm ok with my two!

Here are my swatches of Tanzanite! It shifts from a violet purple to a coppery orange/red color and the shift is very, very strong! DROOL! This was 3 coats without topcoat in indoor lighting.

Zoya Vespa

Hello! Today I just have a short post with a picture of one of the PixieDust polishes by Zoya: Vespa. This polish was pretty much impossible to capture. There is an amazing fine silver glitter that sparkles in person but won't photograph.
Based on pictures I had already written this off as one I wouldn't like but I was wrong! I'll be picking up the rest of the collection soon!
