China Glaze: Seahorsin' Around

Good evening readers! Today I have for you a polish from the China Glaze Sea Goddess collection: Seahorsin' Around. This is an amazing blue texture polish. The blue textures seem to be my favorite. This polish reminds me of the blue texture from the Mariah Carey collection!

As usual, all photos are taken with my phone using a desk lamp as lighting.

And I'm super excited, I just got an Olloclip for my phone and so I've included a macro of the polish. So preeeeetty!

Seahorsin' Around was super easy to work with and covered in 2 coats.

Thanks for reading!

Essence: Miss Universe

Hey guys! How have you all been? Good I hope. I've been well! Sorry for the delay in posting. I just have a quick one here for you today.

I picked this up at Ulta the other day. It's a new color that hasn't been there before and it caught my eye! It's Miss Universe by Essence. A dark blue with blue and green shimmers.

I like this color quite a bit and for one $1.99 it's a definite win!

Sinful Colors Cinderella

Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. ^_^ I'm a little late on the polish I have for you today but oh well! Today's polish is Cinderella by Sinful Colors.

I picked this up when it was the "it" polish to grab. I actually ended up with two bottles of it somehow. This polish is actually a let down for me. It's a super pretty baby blue with delicate pink shimmer in it. The major drawback is that it is really sheer. My pictures only show 3 coats because that's all I wanted to do, but last time I wore this I think I did a total of 5. I don't seem to have a good layering blue for this. Anyway, it's a pretty polish, just not up my alley.

I need to double check colors, but I think one of the more recent releases by Sinful Colors may include a blue that matches this, minus the shimmer. If I find that then I would wear this polish much MUCH more often!

OPI Tiffany Case

Good afternoon loves! Hope you all are doing well! I think I'm getting a cold. Can't tell yet, but my throat has been sore for the last few days. Yuck!

I didn't expect it, but it's official. I'm into the texture polish craze! I never really got into the crackle thing when it was around, and the matte look is still iffy for me, but this texture thing! I think the polish companies are doing great things with these polishes. First Zoya with the PixieDust line and now the Bond Girls collection from OPI. I wasn't planning on picking any of these up, but decided since I don't have a blue polish -- I passed on Nyx by Zoya -- that I'd grab it. Best. Idea. Evar!

Tiffany Case is a bright blue polish from OPI's Liquid Sand line of texture polishes. It manages to stay matte and textured while being amazingly shiny and sparkly! I can't stop looking at my fingers!

I don't know if I'll be getting any more of the Bond Girls collection, but picking this one up was definitely a good call!

Any of you have a preference or think you'll be picking any of this collection up??

China Glaze It's a Trap-eze

Hello all! How is everyone this evening?

Today I have a polish by China Glaze from the Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away collection: It's a Trap-eze.  I missed out on this polish the first time around and actually ended up ordering it off Amazon.com. I thought it was a really neat idea: jelly sandwich in a bottle. Unfortunately, I found this polish super difficult to work with and not quite awesome enough to make the application worth it. The polish is really thick and hard to apply evenly. The colors are fantastic, but I doubt I'll grab for this again, unless I'm going for a theme with my nails and this polish fits the theme.

Sorry for the mess! I really found this just too difficult to work with.

Girly Bits Cosmic Ocean and Street Magic

Good afternoon all! I'm super excited about the release of Pam's new Girly Bits collection tomorrow and so in honor of the release I have a few of my favorite layering polishes, probably ever: Cosmic Ocean and Street Magic. These are multi colored shimmers that can be layer over any color. In my pictures I picked to layer them over black, but they also look stunning over blues and greens and purples!

Street Magic is a green/gold shimmer. It shifts from green to yellow to red to gold. It's just amazing and looks just as stunning over green or blue; although, I've chosen black for my swatches.

I just. Pictures barely do this justice. Next though I have Cosmic Ocean for you. I consider Cosmic Ocean my favorite layering polish of all time. The way it transforms a normal black polish isjust.... I have no words. None. Pictures will in NO way do this polish justice. It's just so incredible I can only hope to have captured at least a little bit of it's awesomeness.

Isn't that just amazing? Over normal black. And the shimmer is just insane. I can't even talk about it properly it's so stunning.

Girly Bits Polish can be purchased at Pam's store for $10/bottle. I highly recommend these polishes. I was hoping to get Shift Happens in here as well, but I couldn't track down my bottle so I'll swatch that one later From what I understand, Pam's Spring It On Me collection will be released tomorrow although these two polishes are already for sale and not part of that collection.

***All polish in this post was purchased by me.***

China Glaze: Strap On Your Moonboots

Good morning! Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I'm just getting ready to head off to work so this is a quick post, since I didn't get it in yesterday! This is the final polish I picked up from the Hologlam (gram? I'm honestly not sure what this collection is called. I've seen different things) Collection: Strap On Your Moonboots.

This is a gorgeous deep blue holo. This is two coats and I had no issues with the formula.

Drool with me? All these colors are just uh-MAZ-ing. You can check out my other two posts on this collection here and here.

My final thought: I really love these colors. I don't like pink and for some reason, I don't like the lighter holos either so I skipped those for now. When I picked these up, I thought When Stars Collide would be my favorite. (I think I even said it was while I was swatching it!) It turns out that once I got them all on my nails, I completely fell for OMG A UFO. All the shades are gorgeous though and I will probably end up with a couple more colors.

Do you have favorites? Which ones? I did have a hard time choosing one!

Girly Bits: Stormy Skies

Good morning! I'm excited to get this post in. I've been moving into a new apartment so busy would be an understatement! I'm almost done though and finally have some sit-down time!
My polish today is one I've had a lemming for, for AGES! I think Girly Bits is my favorite indie brand. All of Pam's polishes are beautiful! Stormy Skies is a, you guessed it, sky blue polish that has a slight grey cast to it. It's filled with blue/green shimmer. Love. I've never been drawn to a blue polish quite like I'm drawn to this one. LOVE!!
With the photos, sorry for my cuticles. Our weather can't decide if it's warm or snowy. Haha! It's drying my hands out. This is 3 coats with topcoat. The formula was flawless.

Girly Bits can be purchased at Llarow or at Pam's store HERE.

Essie: Butler Please

Hello! Hope you all are well! Today I have Butler Please by Essie. I don't often like blues, but this polish is an exception! I think it looks like a dark periwinkle blue, with the smallest hint purple. LOVE it!
